RE: Testimonial for Michelin’s Tire Performance – Mileage and Fuel Saving

Refer to the above matter; I am pleased to certify that I have used 4 Michelin Radial tires 7.00R16 XZA1 on one of my light truck, JHN 1948. This Daihatsu LT will travel around 300 km per day, going from Batu Pahat(BP) to Johor Bahru(JB) and back again to BP. Previously, when I was using other brand of Bias tires, I have to fill in RM70 of fuel per day, compare to now, using Michelin tires, I only fill in RM62. That’s 11.4% of saving!

Mileage wise, my previous monitoring shows me I have to change tires just after 6 months when I was using Bias. After using Michelin Radial for 9 months, there is still 5.5.mm remaining thread depth left on average.

Projected Mileage: Competitor Bias – 41000km

Michelin Radial – 124000km

I am very happy with the advantage of using Michelin Radial tires and will continue to use more of these tires in the future.
